Frank Sweet

Title: Prehistoric Migrations and Adaptations

Frank W. Sweet is the author of "Legal History of the Color Line," a book that explains "racial" classification by U.S. courts from colonial times to today. He was accepted to Ph.D. candidacy in history with a minor in molecular anthropology at the University of Florida, and has completed all but his dissertation defense. He manages Backintyme Publishing, a small press for scholarly books on the history of U.S. "racial" classification. He manages two online discussion groups on the topic. One group is on the web at "The Study of Racialism." The other is in Second Life, with the same name.

Frank also plays the banjo and, with his wife Mary Lee.  They perform 19th-century songs and stories on stage and have been a resounding success at past MHA gatherings, both during the regular program and also at our after hours music sessions.
