We will be interviewing Dr. LaTanya Bowman and Dr. Kersten Priest. We will be exploring the history of the Free People of Color and mixed ancestry people, who were the Jamestown Freedom Pioneers, and African-American abolitionist activity in Jamestown, North Carolina, and Grant County, Indiana. We will be specifically concentrated on the Fuller, Pettiford, and Weaver families, following them from the start of the American Revolution through to the American Civil War. Join us to learn more about this powerful history of resistance and freedom, and the legacy of the Jamestown Freedom Pioneers.
